His work is based on an initial photograph that serves as the starting point for his image-making, which is informed by a range of photographic and artistic movements.

What they share is the colour Orange.

The Thin Seam was conceived as an exercise in proximity, the images were not made in dialogue with one another and each image has its own distinct visual intention.

It asks can a colour alone, in the absence of narrative, present a cohesive body of work? This Exhibition suggests it can — but the seam is thin.

There is no correct reading, there is only the mutual colour Orange, and what the eye chooses to do with it."
