Unapologetically seen is a reclaiming of the female body. The figures shown in Victoria's work are not ashamed, not hidden, not asking permission or approval. They won’t be silenced and told how they should look and behave. These women are strong and confident; they take up space and bring joy and positivity.
Her work is visually influenced by the oil light shows of the psychedelic movement of the 60’s and is shown in her use of bold colours and the organic movements of the inks. Victoria hopes to encourage us all to appreciate and understand that our bodies are amazing and beautiful while promoting confidence, acceptance and inclusion.
